Matana strives to benefit people in need both locally and abroad. Each year, Matana gathers local nonprofits, churches, and ministries to team up to host a gift fair during the holiday season. The fair is an opportunity for the producer and receiver alike to escape the season's commercialization and find gifts for a cause. Local and International organizations are presented, offering a variety of items including fair trade items, handmade art pieces, as well as a special table of activities for children. The goal of Matana’s unique brand identity is to effectively communicate the rawness of its mission. By using earthy tones and organic shapes, Matana communicates an approachable, hands-on identity that feels personal. Whether it be communicated via a staff shirt or a small sticker, Matana’s brand will hold a consistent theme of personable design.
